I currently have a set of screaming eagles on a 03 fatboy, Would I gain much by switching them out to a set of Vance & Hines? bare with me I am still new at this.

 

Best thing I've done so far is to get rid of the Screamin Eagle slip ons. I went with cycle shack slip ons, but the v&h will definitely be an improvement over the SE's in both sound and performance.

 

Hey Ape Hanger, Thanks for the reply. I have them switched out already. I've noticed a difference with the sound.

 

Great sound is always a plus. Is your bike fuel injected or carb'd? If it's decel popping a lot it could mean you're too lean and need to adjust the air fuel mixture.

 

No.Not much really to gain other than maybe a different sound from the pipes. If you've got money burning a hole in your pocket, go for it!
