Default Help me I.D. Grandpa's Harley

Anybody know what exact year and model this is? The picture is from 1942 and he and grandma went on their honeymoon on this bike. So I'm just curious about the model specifics of it.

Couldn't hurt to try emailing a picture to the guys at the wheels through time museum.
I'm sure they would know.

Chainguard on right side means it is a 45", not VL. It is a RL or DL total loss oiler late 20's-mid 30's. Look up years for RL and DL and you will know exactly what year span.
