I posted a general question asking whether the shocks on my 1200s were worth anything. Now the post has disappeared without a trace -- and without any explanation.

The posting was NOT a classified. It was asking about pricing. I stated I wanted to advertise on local CL.
Peremptory dismissal without an explanation was my problem.

You sure you clicked on post thread after typing everything. I don't remember seeing anything about shocks in the Sportster section for a while now.

 

Seems that it was determined that you were surreptitiously trying to sell your shocks and so your missive was expatriated to the nether regions.
