Thanks Ron. I downloaded that browser but hate the fact I need an extra browser just because of this forum.

Soooo. The ads are wearing me out. Is there ever going to be a solution to this other than installing a special browser?

When I surf the forums on my phone I just go to different sites. Nothing they've done thus far seems to work and I don't have trouble on any of the other Harley forums I frequent.

I posted a thread about this before too. It didn't get much attention. I've been dealing with this issue for a year or so. I tried the garage talk app, but I don't like it. I like the mobile version of the site.
I find that when I change networks (Motorola droid turbo on Verizon) the ad hijack starts. I.e. I get to work and jump on Wi-Fi, I'll get hijacked 3 times then it stops. I leave work back on cellular, I get hijacked 3 times then stops. I get home on Wi-Fi, I get hijacked 3 times then it stops. The worst is traveling in a car long distance, it does it when I change cell towers/networks. It will get to be unbearable. It doesn't matter what section of the forum I'm on either.
I get the Wal-Mart ad, the adult sites virus ad, and a few others. Annoying as all get out. If I disable cookies it won't do it, but then I get logged out and have to log in constantly (every page change). I hope this helps the techies figure it out.
ETA: I keep 2 tabs open in my chrome browser each on a different forum page. Once on a new network, or dormant for a long period of time, each browser tab will experience the ad hijack, and it will occur 3 times on each tab before operating like normal again.
I don't close the tab of the browser, I go to the url box and start to type hdforums and select the forum I was viewing from the history. I can navigate away from the ad hijack, but cannot back up. Pressing back has no effect. Once I have done this 3 times (typically) I can browse like normal.

I've been told that we had removed the ad partner who was inserting these nefarious ads. IF you're still being redirected, please post screenshots and what you were doing at the time. We'll continue hunting these suckers down.
cheers,

Again today. Browsing the touring forum. Clicked a thread link and got the following.
This one with the little ok box first
Clicked ok and went to this
Went to the address bar and went back to touring model forum and then I get this.
Url for the page after clicking ok.
http://www.mobile-security.viruseswa...IK-4HJ_318014#
I immediately tried to navigate here to post the screen shots. Same identical ad hijack occurred.
3 more times today. Same as my last post.

Clicked on a post in Softail Forum about Progressive 422 preload, phone screen flashed repeatedly and was taken here....
http://www.mobile-security.viruseswa...K-4HJ_1221037#
And again....I was not able to get a link because my phone was flashing and vibrating non stop and the browser locked up. IMO this is not an ad, this is an invasion of personal space. When something takes over your device, prevents you from looking at the forum and does not allow you to back out...it's BS. It's not like I am viewing some shady **** site...I was attempting to view the vendor section in the classifieds...trying to view a SPONSOR'S post with intentions of a possible purchase. Trying to give business to a forum sponsor and hijacked by some ignorant BS. How can we eliminate this? HDforums is the ONLY place I have this problem.
