Default FXR's need their own subforum

I get tired of looking between the Dyna section and the EVO section, why doesn't the FXR have it's own home here?

Yes! The cult of the fxr needs it's own sub forum. It is a cult above the rest! But it is even worse then that. If you look at the Dyna Glide sub forum, you'll see the fxr is listed there.

"Dyna Glide Models Super Glide, Super Glide Sport, Super Glide Custom, FXR Super Glide, Dyna Glide Convertible, Super Glide T-Sport, Dyna Glide Police, Dyna Switchback, Low Rider, Street Bob, Fat Bob and Wide Glide."

I've complained to the moderator known as Mud about this but nothing seems to have come of this. I think it should be embarrassing for the HD forums. It seems they don't know or care that the fxr is not a Dyna Glide.

If we were to remove the FXR Super Glide from the Dyna Glide section (which we've been told is technically incorrect), it's our understanding that FXR discussions would 'belong' in the Evo Classic section, not its own subforum.

If there are many who wish to see a specific subforum, please make your case for me.

cheers,
robb

Well they aren't Dynas, also there are a lot more models of FXRs than the Super Glide . They have there own frame , and share parts with Sportsters then Dynas .

Putting them in the Evo section is wrong because they came with a Shovelhead, or an Evo . Not to mention the guys that twin cam swap them .

The main reason for such a forum is that there is probably a demand for it. On another site similar to this, there is an FXR sub forum that is alive and active. Of all the Harley's ever made, the FXR is reputed to be the best handling big Harley ever made. There is a "cult" of the FXR.

I bought my FXR new in 1992. It now has 125,000 miles on it. IN August, 2014 I bought a Switchback for most of my riding. I have no need for two bikes. But I just can't bring myself to selling the FXR. It doesn't get ridden a lot now a days, but there is no way I could sell it.

So we should have an FXR subforum in Classics since they are no longer made.

Since there are both shovel and evo FXRs, that would work well. It would be a bit difficult to find, but that could only enhance the "cult" of the FXR.

You need to face the fact that there really aren't that many people with them. Heck, we can't even keep the Vrod section busy and those are current models. At least for now.
