frame-suspension-front-end-brakes forum has sticky posts only
When I visit:
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/frame...end-brakes-56/
I only see sticky posts. I don't see any other posts including a thread I started there.

You need to reset your "display options".
Go to USER CP on the left of the dark blue line above.
Go to SETTING AND OPITIONS, then EDIT OPTIONS
Go to THREAD DISPLAY OPTIONS, then DEFAULT THREAD AGE CUT OFF
The drop down will show different options on how old the threads will be on your screen

Thanks for the reply. I'm set to use forum default. I see older threads in other forums but nothing in this one. My missing thread is only a week and I commented on it yesterday. I think that is too soon for the forum default to expire it.

I changed mine to 10 days and can now see threads. Changed it back to "forum default" and they are no longer visible. If you change yours to "forum default" and get the same result then we can agree this is a general forum problem and not specific to me. I imagine a lot if not most users have forum default set.

I used to have it at "default" but I THINK the few threads to load, the quicker the page loads. Besides, I can change the option at the bottom of the page and it'll change back to my original option when I leave that section.
With all of the options there is, try a few and see which one suits you and your needs best.

That will fix this for me but it won't fix this for everyone else unless we all change our settings and avoid using 'forum default'. The value of a forum is membership participation and when threads go hidden after a day or so then there isn't much value to using that forum.
A better solution might be to avoid any forum known to not work and only post or visit the forums that do. The best solution would be to fix the problem with forum default so threads don't go hidden from view.
How do I move a thread from that forum to touring or do I create a new thread in touring?

What's the title of the one you're talking about?
As for threads times, I'd imagine most of the members have their option on default.

Thanks.
I thought that was the one but I wanted to make sure. You can't move it but I can. I'll move it to Touring.
