Uploaded a new one and the old one stays.
And yes I checked delete current photo.

 

But did you click SAVE CHANGES?

 

Yes....Image shows it as uploaded.

 

I don't know if I ever checked "delete current photo". And I don't know why it won't change. Sorry. But I guess that's why I never mess with mine.

Hopefully someone will figure it out for you.

 

Apparently Profile picture is not the Avatar I was trying to switch.....DOH!

 

I just noticed that you got it changed! Cool!
