I’ve been having this issue for a while, and I’m thinking maybe I have something set wrong on my MacBook Pro or something. Anytime someone posts pics that show up in the little box that you have to click on to see, when I click on them all I get is a black screen that looks like this. Any help?

 

Sometimes that happens with me also. Some pics show up and some have black screen. It could be the site and not your computer.

 

I have tried all the different browsers with the site, adblocker enabled/disabled, java enabled and updated. I’m out of ideas.

 

Have you tried logging off, then logging back and/or clearing your cookies?

I’m pretty much sure its the site, specifically linked images. I have no problem seeing imaged that people upload to their posts, just the link images show up black.

 

I've had some show up black in the past too. I tried what I suggested without luck, just like you. I started thinking it was my Ad Blocker. It still blocks some links.

 

I get the same problem, mostly with posts that are aged

 

I asked this question before and OP you are right. Not only age but if Original user deletes or doesn't use the drop box or whatever they loaded it on you won't see it by one simple click.
I found that if you right click and open image in a new link you can see the picture. This works as long as you can see an image in the thumbnail image.

 

Same thing happens here.
