Default Performance Machine Master Cylinder Brake Parts

I am trying to source the cup seal and the wiper seal on the piston for a performance machine 5/8" bore rear master cylinder. The part number engraved on the bottom of the master cylinder is 6-96-84. I bought it in 1996, I'm told by PM that this master cylinder is obsolete and they no longer support it. I am hoping somebody may know where to source these seals other than PM. If I can't find these seals, I will basically have to buy a new master cylinder along with the forward controls, because the newer style PM master cylinders have a different bolt pattern and will not work with my existing forward controls. It's a crying shame that I would have to spend hundreds of dollars because I cannot get probably $5.00 worth of seals. See the following pictures, any help would be greatly appreciated,

They look like older shovel/Evo era Harley parts to my rheumy ole eyes! Have you looked at J&P or some of the other parts websites? They may not sell 'PM' kits, but may sell suitable parts.

Graham,

After further digging, I did find out that PM does not sell the exact seals I need, but they do sell a $50.00 upgrade kit for this style Master Cylinder. I have not received it yet, but I'm told it consists of a new top cover with new style gasket (not sure why I need a new top cover), piston spring, U Cup seal, Quad Ring, Snap Ring, and a new push pin. I'm told by PM that this will do the job. I will update the final outcome. Thanks for your input, I do appreciate it. Bob

I'm not sure on the cover either, unless in some way it affects the new seal they use, but it looks hopeful that you have a solution!
