Default Front Brake Lever keeps brake light on

I just noticed that my brake light is staying on all the time because my front brake lever is activating the switch with out it being pulled. I can push the brake lever back and the brake light will go off but otherwise it stays on as long as the key is on.
Is there an adjustment or something I can do to fix this. FYI I'm 100+ miles from a dealership.

Had the same thing happen last year on my Wife's Sportster. Just loosen up the brake lever switch housing and realign it. I think the screws are T25 Torx which, unfortunately, is not part of the standard Harley tool kit.

How about some details on the bike? year, model, miles etc.

My first thought is you might need a master cylinder rebuild.

Happened to me a couple of months ago. I went with new levers and it went away. For some reason, the oem lever was bent or something. No problems since. GL
