Default 48 yolks (triple tree)on 2006 custom?

Hi

Does anyone know if the Sportster 48 triple tree (or yolks for uk) will fit on a 2006 XL1200 Custom please? If they don't why not.

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but I can't find it.

Cheers

Lionel

Hello old chap from across the border! Unfortunately this part of HDF gets less activity than the Sportster forum, where you will probably get flooded with replies. If all else fails then call in there.

As for if they will fit your bike the 48 was introduced in 2010 and, despite appearances, Harley does change the design of it's bikes! The chaps in the Sporty section should be able to answer that. The fork tubes will be further apart, so your wheel and mudguard will not work, although your fork legs may be fine.

Best of luck getting an answer!
