Its time to replace the rear tire on my bike. I believe the stock size is 140 and was wondering how wide I can go on the stock rim... 150? Thanks!

 

150 will fit. On the 2000 watch out for the right hand side nuts inside of the fender. Some would rub and others wouldn't. Change them to a thin jam nut if there are issues. Back when the 2000 first came out it was a challenge to get a 180 in there without cutting the frame horns off. Now they come with 200's!

 

Had the 150 installed and they took care of any issues with any bolts rubbing. It looks a bit wider so i'm happy.
