I just bought a 2016 FLHXS and my plan was to move my precious Ohlin shocks from my old 2007 FLHX to my new 2016 FLHXS, assuming they are interchangeable. I bought them from Howard at Motorcycle Metal, so I could call him to verify as well, but I don't want to bother him with a stupid question, so I figured I would ask here first.

 

I just spoke with Howard and he confirmed that I can move the Ohlins over from my 2007 to my 2016...now to get a cheap set of shocks for the 2007 to replace them.

 

Just fit your SG shocks, unless you want to keep them?
