Not able to install the inner rear pad iron 883

Could be one of several reasons. If you have pushed the piston back into the caliper the fluid may be preventing you from pushing it in far enough. Take care when removing the reservoir cap, as fluid may spurt out. Remove some of the fluid and replace the cap, then push the piston once more, which may give you the extra space you need. Then bleed your brakes and top of with new fluid. I do that every time I install new pads.
Another possibility is the piston has got stuck and needs cleaning, so it can retract fully. Disconnect the caliper and use a suitable cleaner and toothbrush or similar to clean the piston (and the rest of that part of the caliper).
Your rear caliper is a single piston 'floating' type and it may be that the mounting pins are dirty and preventing it from moving freely, so clean at the same time as doing the above. Let us know what you find!
If you don't have one I recommend buying a factory service manual.
