It isn't illegal because there isn't a federal mandate that all vehicles have it.

it is illegal to remove safety equipment abs is considered as such and when factory installed it cannot be removed like it or not its illegal

I'll bite.

This is the internet; post a link to that law that says ABS can't be removed from a vehicle.

Until then, I call BS.

Must be a state law. It is not a federal law.

So far I'm not impressed with H-D's engineering team.
Clutch hub's spindle design causes an oil leak from the inner primary: design flaw ( still not fixed )
ABS defaults to NO BRAKES... design flaw

My next ride won't be in an ambulance because of H-D.

Done.

Not sure about illegal, but I’ll guarantee you’ll never get an insurance claim approved, and God help you if a third party is injured/damaged as a result of an accident you’re involved in after tampering with factory installed ABS.
