Will be OK.

Your extreme mental thickness makes any lack of metal thickness a non-issue.

with some compression fittings and pre-bent angles you may not even have to weld

Did you ever build a frame? If you didn't, shut up!
To all idiots with negative responses:
If you built a frame, say something useful. If you never did, shut up! I guess, you all never did and have nothing to say beside stupid comments.

You want to skip the shiny thin tubing and go straight to the black pipe in the plumbing section. Heavier is always better for a proper frame, handles the raw horsepower better.

If you want buy from home depot that would definitely be better than better than electrical conduit. Conduit is typically something like 18 galvanized gauge steel and is likely seemed. You don't want to tig weld galvanized steel stuff emits a gas that gas that is toxic. You have to clean off the galvanize before welding. Probably a good reason for the crimp ring connectors to hold it all together.. No welding, no poison gas.. .. Steel pipe if high pressure will be much better as it will be certified for pressure. May not be certified for structural material tho.

Most metal supply places are willing to supply in smaller quantities if they service a bunch of job shops. Cost per 12 - 20 foot tube is the same if you buy 1 or 10. As stated in the link buy 1/8 thick DOM 1018 steel and use it.. Place I go will cut a 20 foot bar in half for free so I can load it into my truck.. Most better places have a remnants stack where you can by smaller scrap sizes for the odd things where you don't need a lot like the steering neck..

But then you really want to build a frame jig first.

We used to manufacture necks for a bike-builder.
We'd used solid steel bar, machine to length, and machine the thru hole, then establish the bearing diameters.

The stupid comment was building a frame out of conduit.
