Default 17 FLHXS front brakes on 01 FLSTC?

A coworker of mine is replacing the front calipers and rotors on his 2017 FLHXS, and offered to sell me the take offs. Obviously I have no use for the right side caliper and rotor, however, will the left side components bolt in without much issue? Does ABS vs non ABS make a difference? I want a front Brembo set up after my power upgrade.

The Touring Brembo Cal will bolt-on easy along with using a 11.8"(300mm) rotor (yours are 11.5"). You will also need another "short" mounting bolt per side (or use his if replacing).

The FLHXS rotor won't mount to your wheel because they are "spoke mounted" as opposed to your "Hub mounted" rotor. You'll need another 11.8" hub mounted rotor from 08-touring or 06-later Dyna. Of course you can also buy HD accessory rotors or aftermarket.

Your existing 9/16" Master Cyl may work just fine...you'll need to at least flush with denatured alcohol and then use DOT4 fluid (same as the new cals) and then see how it feels operation wise and then make changes if necessary
