The OEM Dunlops on my '07 Dyna FXDC state cold pressure at max load to be 41 psi. front and 42 psi rear. I weigh 170 lbs and never ride 2-up - what presure should I run?

 

That's a MAX/LOAD pressure and should not be used for normal riding. Your owners manual will have the correct pressures for your bike.

 

I'm running Dunlop 402's at 35 psi each on an FLHR. Dealer had the rears at 40 and every bump in the road was beating me to death. I weigh 240 and made a coast to coast round trip with all my luggage and had a very comfortable ride with the new tire presure and rear suspension (Shocks) set to 15 psi.

Changed out both tires at 9,700 miles. Probably had another 1,500 left on the front and 2,000 on the rear but running 80 to 90 in 105 degree heat (turned out I had 1,500 more miles of that heat) didn't want to gamble with a tire failure

 

I think the standard pressure should be 36 in rear and 31 in front. I always run a 1 or 2 psi above that.
