Largest Wheel Size On A FATBOY
Hoping someone who knows what they are talking about can advise me on the largest wheel size I can install on my 2006 Fatboy without any mods to the stock fender, swing arm, tire. I want to get new wheels and the 16" wheels just seem too short now. Can I put a 17" or 18" on and still keep my stock 150 tire size? Thanks!

I put some 18" RC Component Royale II wheels (www.rccomponents.com). I have a 150mm on the rear with no problems at all.

rear rim max = 18"x4.25"
rear tire max = depends on brand really metzler 160/60r18 avon and all others 150/60r18
front rim = 18" x 3.5" or 19"x 3.5" with factory fatboyfender, 21" x 3.5"if you switch to a heritage style fender
front tire = up to 140 for 18" or 19", 120 for 21"
no mods other than fender choice.
