Default run flat tires

I am switching to the9 spoke mag wagon wheels on my electra glide classic, the wheels I bought are off a used bike and they are practically new. The tires are dunlop D402F police run flat MT90B16 M/C 72Hbeltedand I was wondering if anyone hashad any experience with this tire on a cruiser. The size is the same as I am now running and they are dunlops as well.

Default RE: run flat tires

Hey pardner. Those p tires are NOT runflats. Theyre made with a really thick sidewall to hopefully prevent a "catastauphic" (Is that right? Damn thats a hard word.) failure.I've run them and they aint a bad tire when theyre free, but I wouldnt buy one. You can gety alot of wear from them but they aint the greatest tire. the wieght rating is way lower that a standard tire. Im pretty sure it even says right on the tire to "not carry a passenger with this tire" or something like that. Bein the dumbass that I am, I would ignore that warning and run them tires till you wear em out and then buy some metz 880's.
Good luck,
Kick
