Default Brake Pad Replacement on 1200cl

I am about to do the 10,000 mile pm on my '05 1200 cl. I need to know how to determine if the brake pads need to be replaced and also if there is an adjustment for the pads? I have the slightest scrubbing noise from my back brakes and the rotor seems to get a little warmer than the front although I use bouth brakes when stopping. Thanks for any assistance.

Just go by the thickness of the pads, it should tell you in the owners manual what the minimum is. There is no adjustment on the pads, rubbing and noises are normal unless it's a really bad noise and it is noticably holding the wheel back. If the inside is quite a bit worn more than the outside (or vice verse), that would indicate that you need to service the caliper.
