Default FLHTC Rear Wheel

Can a rear wheel off a 2002 to 2005 FLHTC be changed to fit on my 2001? Is it just a matter of different bearings?
Thanks for your help.

Default RE: FLHTC Rear Wheel

There is no bearing differance between these years. 99 and older run the tapered bearing where 2000 and up run a sealed bearing. Now there might be a differance in axles. As some post 2000 models still used the 3/4 inch axle and others changed to a 1 inch axle. This is somthing you might want to check into by the models you are changing around to make sure you have proper fitment.
