Default REAR WHEEL BEARING FAILURE WHY?

I was installing a new set of rear brake pads on my 2004 Softail Heritage, when I noticed that the left rear wheel bearing was shot.&nbsp\\; It appears that some of the ball bearings had come out and the bearing appears to be fractured.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; These are new custom bearings that came with a set of new custom wheels.&nbsp\\; The bearing had about 12-15 thousand miles on it.&nbsp\\; I am curious as to what would cause this bearing to fail?
&nbsp\\;
Any thoughts?

Default RE: REAR WHEEL BEARING FAILURE WHY?

Were the bearings made in China?
