Default FXDX Brakes

My front brake rubs until I depress the brake handle slightly. Then it is silent. Any ideas on what this could be? I have no shaking and the rotors are fine.

Default Full floating rotors don't help with the hissing

I get many different answers when I ask the Harley servic techs why my 04 FXDX's brkes hiss. I have just chalked it off to the general condition of 'traditional' (poor) engineering. The full floating rotors I installed did not help any.

Try removing the pads and filing a chamfer on the back edge.
