Default stock shock length?
2010 Street Glide - looking to replace the air (non) shocks.

Stock length on the other touring Harleys is 13", which some SG owners fit. If you go over to the Touring forum and search for 'shocks' you will find tons of threads on the subject.

What do you mean by 'some SG owners fit'?

Why swap to the 13"?

You will have to ask them, not me. Call in the Touring forum and take a look. Some SG owners tell us they fit longer shocks to get an improved ride. I have fitted longer shocks with increased travel to my SuperLow and got that.

I also use 13" custom built shocks on my Glide, partly to get a little more travel, but mainly to get a superior ride.
