Thumbs down SD wheel bearings 6205

Just put in SKF (made in the USA) bearings in the front of my bike because HD puts SD (made in china) bearings in, and I am thinking uses that brand for most or all there bikes.
both were bad one was really bad.
Changed one on the back last year also
So I paid out of pocket to put better bearings in my bike.*shakes head*

Just thought I would put this out there, same bearings (6205) in all there bikes from the smallest to the biggest and if anyone else is having trouble with there bearings, maybe it would be better for you to pay less then $20 a piece for your own bearings, rather then have HD put there junk in under warranty at least maybe you can have the time covered.
3 bearings I only got 12 000 miles on my bike.

Default Bearings for an 09 FLHR

SKF bearings,,,, Do you have the part numbers? Thanks if you do...
I would order them instead of out of country manufacturing.

Thanks

Added:

Yes they are a Swede' company, manufactured world wide and also made here in the USA by that company.
Their bearings are the Best I have used BUT never repalaced any into my HD YET....

Default Quality Opinion

They are no better or worse than most import lines of bearings. Depending on the local market they can be a challenge to sell. They are priced on the high side. $'s don't always buy better quality! I would be more suspect of how the bearings were installed (yes, you can install them incorrectly) than the quality of the product.

This "opinion" is based on my 36 years in the automotive aftermarket!

Funny Stamped right on the bearing made in the USA, I have seen them marked made in France also. But if you Read My Post I did not say anywhere that they were an American company, your A SFK distributor and you don't know that they make some bearings in the USA as with the question mark after "Made in the USA?" would indicate ...seems there are 6 or 7 plants in the USA that SKF
has.
And yes they are much much better then what Harley is putting in there bikes now, these bearings have been failing Harley often at least that is what my dealer has mentioned to me. But to each there own do as you wish.
