have just taken off a set of fork lowers from an 05 fatboy replaced with a set someone kindly sold me (same size honest). ok so i should have checked closer. everything seems ok until i replace the wheel spindle oops lots of freeplay. so can i replace the 3/4 bearings for 1" and fit the bigger spindle or will i have to replace brakes etc as well???
If not then i will just get the chrome ones stripped and painted.
Anyway theres your free bit of advice as well check everything!!!!

Hi Hugh, from somewhere nearby! Can you clarify what year is your bike and what year are your 'new' sliders? What is the spindle sloppy in, wheel or sliders?!
