Default Spacer issues on 03' FLH

In a Harley Davidson 2003 FLH, when assembling the front wheel, should there be any space between the small spacer on the right side and the fork leg. Theres no space on the left side on the long spacer but theres aprox, a 3/8in gap on the right side. Should there be any space at all?
New tire was put on, just questioning the right spacer.
Sorry, new owner here, looking for any help I can get

Yes. You are supposed to use a 7/16 bit in the hole in the axle and pull the right leg so that it's flush with the drill bit. That will give you that space. I had the same question a few months back and got the same consensus from the folks here. No problems running it since then at all.
