Default Ceramic coated questions

Ceramic coated what is the claimed advantage to the ceramic coated headers.
Next question the 2-1-2. I understand the performance advantage that can be had with them makes sense when you been around HD's awhile.
But what about riders that really have plenty of power with 1 03 and good stage 1 but just want a bike that is tuned well ,run well and delivers the mileage it should not really interested in every last bit or Torque or HP.
Running a Power vision now with some nightsticks and heavy breather bike runs good.
But soon as summer gets here I want to get rid of the CATS.
Looking at the Jackpots.

Ceramic coating works very well for reducing the amount of heat that is dissipated from the exhaust system. On a coated pipe energy (heat) is retained into the exhaust stream rather than being absorbed into the exhaust components themselves. As far as exhaust design a 2/1/2 work very efficient from a performance standpoint and you will see much cooler running over the stock head pipe.

Thank you looks like that will be the header I go with.
Gutting a stock set worked ok on my 2011 but was not what it should be.

Has anyone run a test comparing exhaust temperatures of both coated and not coated under the same conditions? I'd like to know just how much the coating helps.

My bike was definitely cooler on my right leg with ceramic coated Rush header/ pipes and just Xied. I've done business with Fuelmoto before and I'm sure their pipes/header and tuner would be excellent. They are very honest and trustworthy and extremely helpful.

I have their jackpot slip-ons and have had a few different tunes and tuners from them. Customer service has been good. Just trying to justify the extra expense of the ceramic coating.

I quit justifying anything long ago I do my home work when I find something that interest me. I hate adding parts to the bad Idea box.
But in the end I do it because I want to the heck with trying to justify anything anymore.

Home work done winter is winding down. Ordered the Jackpot 2-1-2 this morning.
I went with the original ones ceramic coated. The new ones sound interesting but I will never be doing any engine work , so the extra flow in them work not serve me well. Now to install them when the get here.
I ordered the headers this morning, I all ready have a tracking number and shipping label.
That is amazing as it seems lately service like that is hard to find anywhere.

I do not normally shop online. I found service sucks and for the most part they are a grab a buck and run.
However Fuel moto is on top of my bookmarks.
I requested a map for the new Jackpot headers yesterday, I went about it through the wrong link they still had it to me with in a day.
This on top of the fast and trouble free processing of my order.
Now to get rid of this snow and get some riding in.
