Default FuelMoto Slash-up compared to V&H Monster Ovals?

I currently have a set of Monster Ovals on my bike which I love.
However, I want to put some extended bags and fender on there, and cannot with the Monster Ovals.

All the great talk about FuelMoto has got me leaning towards the slash-ups... How do they compare in sound to the Monster Ovals?

Do you currently have any discounts for HDF members?

Cheers,

The Jackpots are going to be slightly louder than the Monster Ovals which are chambered, however they will not have the low frequency drone that some combinations get with the MO muffers.

I have both and they are accurately described by FM. I prefer the Fuel Moto 4" slash up mufflers. The low frequency drone of the Monster Ovals got to me on long trips. However, a lot of people do run them.

I had V&H ovals (not the monster) - my brother got the monster (european ones). I changed them out for 4" FM slash up for the same exact reason as you. Give them a bit of time (500 miles) and you will love them... I do at least.

I sometimes borrow a 2008 Ultra - stock. got older V&H ovals on them and they are louder than my FM's (they will drone at a certain point IMO).

see my avatar for looks (complete baddad rear/side).
they stick out about 1/4 - 3/8 of an inch and are almost the same angle as my bags.
