First Gear Kathmandu jacket (size XL - equivalent to Harley size XL):

This is a high test, no foolin’ all-weather touring/adventure jacket with awesome ventilation and breathable waterproof construction. Features:

• HYPERTEX Waterproof and breathable outer shell made of high density 420 denier rip-stop nylon and 300 denier high density nylon
• Double storm flap front with hook and loop closure over a #8 YKK Vislon 2-way zipper, with rain gutter
• Collar is lined with peached fabric and tipped with soft touch stretch fabric for a comfortable, flexible fit
• Collar conceals an under helmet rain hood to keep water from running down your back in a downpour
• 8" pant connection zipper to zip to most FirstGear pants, like the Kathmandu pants of course
• Cuff closures are adjustable using hook-and-loop system and tipped with soft touch stretch fabric for comfort and flexibility
• Adjustable waist belt with hook-and-loop closure
• 3 position bicep and 2 position forearm adjustable compression straps secured by snaps
• Removable, insulated liner includes cellphone and cargo pockets just like the jacket shell
Safety:
• CE armor in elbows and shoulders, plus an EVA dense foam back pad
• Reflective piping on front and rear for improved night time visibility
Ventilation:
• 2-9" chest intake vents
• 2-8" armpit intake vents

Pockets:

The ventilation on this jacket is just awesome. It is comfortable even at 94 degrees under the Texas Sun. On the other end of the temperature spectrum, if you close the vents and seal up properly, put on a layer or 2 of warmth clothing or an electric vest, the jacket is windproof enough that people use them at 20 degrees F.

Please note:
1. NO hydration bladder included – you can supply your own if desired
2. ONE of the 4 sleeve snaps, that enables you to tighten the left sleeve between elbow and wrist was improperly riveted at the factory and came loose. Can be re-riveted by a seamstress or motorcycle clothing repairman.

Rear pillion seat for Breakout:

I replaced my two-piece stock seat with a Corbin aftermarket seat, have already sold the driver stock seat, and have this passenger seat remaining. No tears, and excellent condition, as the bike was new in March 2014 and the Corbin seat went on on August 5th with under 2900 miles on the odometer.
