3 weeks off coming up soon and I am heading to Sturgis with a good buddy...I cannot wait! We are riding from Pensacola, FL...first time for this rally.

I have reservations (Paid in Full) at the Ramada Inn in Rapid City from Sunday, August 3 through Saturday, August 9 2014. (Sturgis 2014 runs from 8-4 to 8-10)

Plans have changed for our return trip and I will have to leave Wednesday, August 6...this leaves the room empty Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights!

I have tried to change my reservations for some sort of refund or credit...no go...but I can sublet the room!

I will sublet this room for the 3 nights for exactly what I have in it...$805.62.

Let me answer some questions up front...the room is a standard Ramada Inn room with 2 queen beds...breakfast will be served every morning...this is in Rapid City (West), not Sturgis (you are less than 20 miles from Sturgis)...the rally runs from 8-4 through 8-10...you will have to pay me up front through PayPal...I will meet you in Sturgis to provide the room keys (cards)...NO PARTIAL NIGHTS, ALL 3 OR NONE!

800$ for 3 nights at Sturgis? Maybe if they allow 10 in the room. I went once..that was enough of a ripoff for me.

I have thought about going to Sturgis since my birthday is on the 4th- it's not really a bucket list item for me. I guess I would rather ride through the area and see the sights when it is not crowded.

 

You can still book a room on Ramadas website for 695.52 for 2 queens.... Why the 100 dollar mark up?

Tent camping is the way to go (less than $30 a night most places) if you don't mind that sorta thing. I'll spend the difference on fuel (4k round trip) beer, food maybe a new mod part or two.

Hope someone takes you up on the offer. I'll be sleeping on my air mattress in a tent this year for sure though.
