I have seen these jackets and they are very heavy weight bullet proof leathers. I would buy it if I had not just had Vanson alter another one, these are 1K jackets new now..and unlike other retailers they are not marked up 200% from the retailer. They very rarely if ever go on sale and then they reduce them 100 150 max.

Vanson makes this competition weight jacket that keeps you warm and protects you if you go down. Vanson will also alter their jackets to fit you for a very reasonable fee. My 52s (I wear 48 in Brooks or 50 in Schott) had to be let out around the waist area to wear a sweatshirt with it.

The jackets can also be fitted with a liner that will take a full size out of the coat. You will never wear them out and they are one of the best available.
