So what have you pick up off the road this year when out for a ride ?

I left a note saying I found it on the road. It was right near the guys house, and I drive by there everyday-I was tempted to keep it,but figured it was time to do a good dead[and the guy rides a Harley!] I know I felt better about it,better than if I'd kept it.
Found a couple hundred in a car that was junked, returned it and never even got a 'Thanks". I know this biker is thanking me,even though he doesn't know who I am!!

Just kidding. Bet he was glad you did the right thing. A couple of years ago I lost my wallet. Cancelled my credit cards. Looked everywhere for a couple of days. Gave up and went to DMV and got a new license. Come home, go to pick up mail, there it is laying in the snow, it had fallen out of my vest. I hate pockets without zippers.
You saved him a lot of hassle.

Found a lady's wallet last year. She must have left it on the roof of her car at the fuel pumps. Made it into treasure hunt ride trying to find her house (No Tom Tom's here.) Spent the next 2 hours finding her house (in Va.)and got it back to her husband who called her and told her it was back home. Ran into her pulling out of her street. She was on her way back from taking Mom to the hospital and didn't look like she had 2 nickles to rub together. Didn't take a dime for my efforts. A great way to spend the afternoon IMO.
