Default J&P retail store

How big is the J&P retail store in Iowa? We're going to see the museum, but don't know how much time the store might take. Is it large with lots of stuff on display, or mostly a warehouse location? Thanks.

Check the store. It isn't huge but has lots of stuff. If you see it in the catalog they will bring it out for you to see at the store. Good staff, worth the stop.

It's not huge, but the warehouse is attached to it. So it's all there. The museum is just down the road, so it's worth stopping at both.

Never been to the one in Iowa but have been to the one in Sturgis and Daytona. The one in Daytona is about the size of a medium sized grocery store. In some of there catalogs there's an aerial shot of the Iowa store, looks pretty dam big to me.

Even if you take your time you won't need more than an hour, it's not a big store. Like mentioned, they do have the warehouse attached, so they will bring anything from the catalog out for you to look at.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. My wife is short and has been having a hard time finding a pair of chaps to fit. I suspect we'll be going home with a pair.

There's quite a bit of merchandise on display and they will gladly bring anything else up from the warehouse. Its a nice store and besides its only maybe a couple miles from the museum. Also check out some of the roads available in the area. Theres some nice little bars and good places to eat in the area as well.
