Leather Jacket Restoration?

Leather Jacket Restoration?
Hey All, looking for a bit of help here. I have had the leather jacket I currently were for over 30 years and it has some old age issues and battle scars that need attention before it falls apart on me. Couple tears , cuts, broken snap, lining, etc.
Question here is does anyone know of an outfit that restores these sort of things? I mean I would rather keep this old friend of a jacket than buy a new one and don't mind shipping it out for repairs even.
Just can't seem to find anything online and would like to get it done before it cools off here....

Do you know what brand it is? Some outfits, like Langlitz, take care of their own. There is probably some local place in Phoenix or Tucson that can do it. If not, check in San Diego. Good luck.

I was thinking of doing the same a few years ago .Jacket had some worn panels and lining in sleeves were worn through. The tailor I brought mine to said he could do it but it would not be cheap,no figures.I bought a new Schott instead, nice Jacket. But it can be done...

Barini Leather is a miracle worker out in the San Fernando Valley of L.A. (Sorry I don't know anyone in Ariz.)
He resized my rare Vanson from an XL to a tailored cut for me. (Somewhere between a medium and large.) Love that thing on the bike. Gary will tell you if it can be done. If it can't he won't snow you. Sounds like your stuff is very fixable.
Just don't let your lady see the handbags he makes.

+1 on Barini. He resized a Schott for me - excellent work. If you're just doing repairs and don't need adjustments, where he'd need to see it on, it would probably be OK to send it to Gary so he can estimate.

Not in Ariz
Just my 2cents. I have a leather jacket that's over 30 years old and one of the shoulder seams burst and was spitting fluff when I felt the draft. I thought it was history, took it to this local little old lady seamstress, and she stitched the leather and the slick fabric inside for $10.00 I could not believe it, the thing was gonna loose a sleeve. So as far as rips and such, try the local seamstress, as for leather conditioning, I don't do much but after more thought may try some saddle soap or auto leather conditioner on it. Good luck, take care of your friend.

We used to have a family run Asian dry cleaner/shoe repair guy around here. He did some major repairs on a jacket for me for like $20. Try to find an old school craftsman like that.
