Am I missing something here? I would think it would bring new traffic to this place.

 

Not enough of them out there yet. We have had a Street Rod forum for ages and it hardly gets any hits.

 

Dunno about other locations but one local dealer here still has not gotten any in other than the 500's for the Riders Edge course. Salesman told me they had a bunch of people asking for their deposits back because it was taking too long. If that holds true elsewhere it sounds like kind of a hosed up launch.

 

It actually seems like a lesson in how not to launch a new model. I'm surprised that a bike has really could have a big impact on their future is being released with such a little amount of fanfare.

just as soon as the moco decides to hire vance and hines to build a 750 street into a flat-track motor that can run with the kawasaki 650, i would follow that closely. of course, by then indian will have stuffed that scout motor into a dirt bike frame and the harleys will still have trouble keeping up. come on moco, build that street into a racer.
