Default Long Distance Solo seat, whats your favorite

Just wanted to get some real world opinions for a 2012 dyna. I have the solo and the HD passenger seat that fits right behind it. I saw Mustang's at Biketoberfest and it looked pretty good. I dont really like Corbin; too heavy in the base and a little too much on the firm side (while I understand firm is good vs soft). THoughts? What do you have and how long have you had it? Should I get one a little wider?

I have lower back issues (post surgery) and installed a Mustang Wide Vintage Solo with removable adjustable back rest.

It is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default More Mustang Info

Additional info on my earlier post.

I previously (2 years ago) installed a Mustang Wide Vintage solo on my 2009 sportster.

Last March, I traded in the Sporty on a 2014 Dyna Wide Glide. I missed the Mustang seat so much that I bought one for the Dyna.

I wouldn't even look at others.

Interesting on the CC. I want a little better rear seating area and a solo so I can take the back seat off. I have a removable sissy bar and like to run just the solo seat as well. Wizard, Will the Mustang still allow the stock passenger seat to fit over the mounting bolt that holds the Mustang in place do you know?

Anyone else on other options????/

Got a Corbin touring solo on my Dyna and my wife has the same. It feels a bit stiff/firm at first, but after about 1,000 miles it feels real nice. Got mine with the back rest also. I know you said you don't like it, but if it's the firmness that has you worried that will go away shortly.
The gentleman who started Mustang got his start working for Corbin. Just a little side note.

Having owned a few Corbins and a Mustang, the Mustang Vintage solo is the most comfortable seat I've owned.

The Stock passenger seat will not fit with the Mustang. I bought the matching Mustang passenger pillon seat with my Mustang Solo Seat. It's far superior to the stock passenger seat. It's easily removable (one thumb screw). I only put it on when the wife is going along.

You said that you don't like Corbin, can I ask why? I'm on my second Corbin because I liked the first one so much. Although they are on the firm side to begin with, once they're broken in for a thousand miles or so you will find that it fits to your body perfectly. My current Corbin seat is a Genuine Stingray leather, very expensive, especially with shipping to Maui but worth every penny.

I did 10 hour shifts on a police solo Road King seat. Best seat Harley makes IMO.
