Default Couldn't resist the urge!

Living up in Northern Minnesota i winterized my bike 3 weeks ago because the weather was starting to turn cool to downright cold. I changed the oil in all 3 holes, fogged the cylinders, stabalized the gas, and shined her up for the long sleep. Well, the weather during the last week the has been beautiful and today got up to 70 degrees which is almost unheard of this time of year so i woke her up and went for about a 30 mile ride when i got home from work! I have major OCD when in comes to putting anything i have with a motor away for the winter putting stuff away with fresh oil. Question is, how many of you would change the oil again and how many of you think i am paranoid?

You should wait for snow to fall or freezing weather for 10 days straight.

Put my Road King Classic up for the winter 3 times last year. Finally put it up when the salt started going down on the roads.

Road salt and short trip runs in cold weather are the best way to wound a Harley. We are all guilty of overkill on the maintenance items.

You honestly considered changing the oil after only 30 miles??? Yeah, I'd say that's a bit OCD haha!
