California, always at the forefront of confusion. Google Aftermarket exhaust for motorcycles in California and you'll find lots of info about the difficulty of why companies are reluctant to sell their exhaust in your state.

Get the seller to ship it to a friend or relative who does not live in CA and they can send it on to you or buy a used one from here...much better!

Go to fuelmoto.com and dont forget to get your stage 1 AC and tuner. They will ship it to you. Thats where I got mines. Also, for a better price, call them for a quote.

As someone else stated, Ebay should fix your problem. Have you checked craigslist?

Cycle Shack sells exhaust that is meets California DB levels. The inside of the exhaust has a metal protrusion that directs flow into the side chambers that lowers the volume. The exhaust port has a 2" diameter. You can start with a 3/4" pipe and a sledge hammer and tap the protrusion down. The more you tap away, the louder the pipe gets. You can get bigger and bigger and until it's the perfect amount. It gets loud and grumbly when I gas it under load but can be quiet as a kitten when I want it to be.

I do this because I don't like loud exaust. I do a lot of riding and I don't want to hear my pipes rumble for 10/12 hours at a pop. Wind noise over that period of time is already hard enough to deal with, even with ear plugs.
