Windshield Question
I put a National Cycle Spartan 16.25" windshield on my bike. Shoulda went with 18.5" model. Can I buy just the glass screen in 18.5" as a replacement?

Hope this answers your question. But if I were you I would contact LRS and see if they have a flip shield that is compatible with your hardware. You would be much happier.

Sorry as when I read the link it said mounting hardware sold separately so I presumed that was just the shield. Like I said, try contacting Long Ride Shields to see if they have something that is compatible. They are a sponsor here and their number is (775) 331-3789.

Best thing to do would be to contact National Cycles. My Sons Memphis Shades windshield got cracked and I was able to get just the shield to replace it.

Check out 7jurock online. Its not a typo, that's the name. I have bought 2 different windshields from them and they're really durable and very reasonable. And yes you can buy just the wind screen.

In most cases, yes, you can just replace the shield and use the existing mounting frame.
But, don't automatically assume that your shield is too short. If your current shield comes up where the top is even with your upper lip or nose area, it is the proper height. One thing you can try is this. While riding your bike, take your left arm and cross it over your chest as if it were in a sling, then move your arm toward the windshield slowly and see if any turbulance disappears. If it does, all the wind is coming from under the shield, and up around the tank area. On a bike such as your dyna, a lot of guys solve that issue with a fork bag hanging under the headlight.
Good luck to you.
