Default East coast Riders, How cold is "too cold" to stop riding

Hello everyone. I have a friend who has a motorcycle storage business in the city and he tells me "riding season" is generally march-october.

Curious as to how cold is too cold for you to ride,

Never too cold in Ohio. The issue is salt and ice. I ride into the teens.

No real minimum.

All dependent on other factors; if there's ice on the road, I won't ride no matter what the temps.

If there's no ice on the roads, I've ridden in temps down to 13-15 degrees Fahrenheit. Would have still gone if it had been colder as long as no ice.

Virginia - rarely too cold to ride. The issue, as stated already, is ice. I'll lay off mid 30s unless it been really dry. Then you can break the freezing point.

I make it a point to not leave the bike in the garage for longer than a week without putting some highway miles on it - minimum of 12 at highways speeds for preventive medicine.

Yep, ice is the real concern. Typically, if no rain or snow for a week or so, there won't be run off that freezes over night.
