Heading out to Sturgis again for 2015. Staying at Glencoe campground. Stayed there in 2013, had a blast awesome time. Went on line to get the rates. Wow talk about a price hike. I paid $180.00 last time, I think that was it. They up it to $275.00, for the tent and over $700.00 for a camper. WTF. I still go, just feel like bitchin, always the little guy that loses.

 

In '06 I paid less than a c-note for a tent site.

 

At least you have plenty of time to save up for it!

 

Next year is expected to be huge. They are cashing in.

 

I went the last two years and had the time of my life. I think I'll pass in 2015 not because of any price hikes just because I want to experience something different. Thinking of Sturgis, KY and maybe Chilicothe OH instead. Will go out in 2016 for sure though.

 

There was a big price jump between 2014 and 2015 for the 75th anniversary. In fact, when we booked last month, some places were already sold out.

 

Wow!! We booked last month and paid 575.00 for the RV and $225.00 for the wristbands. Glad we booked early.

 

Tent camping starting at $15/night or $95 for 10 days.

You may want to research Sturgis KY before you make plans, last time i went it was a dry county, the fairgrounds are in the middle of nowhere, small, packed tight with people, and the county shuts down after dark.
