Default Lift table or jack... opinions wanted

I am about to purchase a lift table or a motorcycle jack and I would like an opinion from those who have used both. If you can have just one or the other, which would it be and why. I am talking Handy lift table or J&S jack or possibly Pitbull.

I think it really depends on your budget and the space you have. I'd like to have a table but it would take up too much space.

I'm going with a Complete Hydrolics lift table. They have a complete package for $799.95 that seems to be everything I want. It will take up a lot of space, but I'm willing to sacrifice it for the full table.

I have a HF table and leave it in the middle of the garage floor. I then park my truck over it. When I lift the bike, I just back the truck out onto the driveway. Unless you have a "low car" most should clear a lift table. Just a thought if you have space problems.

I have both lift table and jack. I have the Kendon Stand Up bike lift. I went with this lift table since when not in use, you can stand it up and put into the corner of my garage. This save floor space. In addition, it it under 150 lbs so it is easy to move around. I consider the Handy lift table which is a great lift table, but with my limited garage floor space and its weight of 500 lbs, it did not fit my needs. Handy does sell a dolly to help move the lift table around but you are still talking 500 lbs. I also have the Craftsman aluminum M/C jack. I use this jack more often than the lift table.

I've used both, and to me the Handy lift table wins hands down. YMMV

It takes up a little floor space, but AFAIC, it's a garage and that's what garages are for. :-)

Which center jack are you using with your table lift? I am in the market for one but the prices are all over the planet...Don't want to pay half what I paid for my table lift...

shipping is high but about the same price for jacks on ebay that include shipping. Like I said, I have 2 and use then all the time. They hold up my Ultra just fine.
