Exclamation Help with brake adjustment for 2014 Dyna Lowrider???

I just purchased a new, 2014 Dyna Lowrider...and LOVE it, BTW. I "graduated" from my 1st ride, an '06 Sportster 1200C. My question is this, (I have asked around and keep getting puzzled looks and a general "that cannot be done" response). I guess I am a doubter by nature, because the "issue" seems logically resolvable. Maybe I am wrong, and I'd like to gather input from all you rider/mechanic experts (geniuses?) out there. I am a self-confessed newbie.

ISSUE: My brake lever (for the front, double disc, non-ABS brakes) is very SENSITIVE, and quite different from my former bike. I "feel" very little, if any, "squeeze," and therefore tend to hit the lever too hard or aggressively...resulting in an abrupt grab and stop.

QUESTION: Is there a way to "loosen the tension" on the brake lever just a touch so I can squeeze it down with a bit of gradual movement instead of going from no brake to full on in less than the extremely short pull I have now?

I'd appreciate any input/opinions about this.

calipers may be sticking, (no movement, then with more pressure ,move quickly)

complain to the "warranty people), if no satisfaction , then "pop the calipers apart , and clean /lube them .

fix number two is , maybe your sportster had a bad front brake , and you need to adjust, because on the new one , their is no squeeze adjustment.

Take it back and have a tech ride it and see if he can fix the problem. Dual discs do in fact STOP! That's why they're there.

the FXDL has a great set of binders, is the reason I finally bought one is they finally put dual front brakes on the bike, however I can not lock the front wheel unless going a very slow speed. unless as others have said the possibility of sticking calipers, you will get use to the strong front brakes, a bike this heavy they are a necessity.
