Default New Rider Needs Some Help

What's up all! I'm a first time rider with a mostly stock (screaming eagle exhaust and aftermarket front wheel) 98 Softail Custom. The bike only has 24K miles on it, so it's one that I should be able to hang on to for a long time. I'm a really big fan of the bobber/chopper look and need help customizing my bike to get the look I'm after. I've attached a few pictures of a bike I found that has a really cool style, but I'm not sure how to get my bike there. I know the rear end was lowered, but I'm not sure of the proper way to do it (or how much it was lowered), I can't tell if the tank angle was changed too or if it just looks that way because of the lower rear, how did he change the rake (just buy a new front end?), and what size are those handlebars? I don't know that I want those exact bars, but I have no point of reference for the size so it makes it hard to buy the right ones. Any help would be really appreciated!!

IMO. Front end is over stock springer. Can't really tell if rear was lowered but fender is a chopped one which gives appearance of lowering. Tank does not look lifted. Angle looks different 'cause of front end. Over stock front ends just added to bike pops front end in the air. It's a whole scientific rake and trail thing. Lowering the rear of a softail can be accomplished with a fairly inexpensive lowering kit.

That site has some cool stuff, but most of it is for newer Softails. Mine's a 98, so a lot of the products don't fit (unless I'm not looking in the right place). Any suggestions on websites that sell cool bobber style accessories? Forks, lights, bars, air cleaner covers, fenders, etc?

Try Dennis Kirk, J&P cycles, Drag Specialties. Lots of choices and options from those companies. Lots of cool independent shops selling stuff. Just google particular item and see what pops up. Lots of vendors on here also.
