street glide to road glide

Absolutely. A few mods and it's done. Search here on the forum as a few have converted bat wings to roadies.

as always, beauty is in the eye of the beholder..
I used to not like them at all.. but the look has grown on me a little.. I don't think they are the best looking HD, but to me, they are for sure Not the worse looking
never rode one, but I'd look/test ride one if I was in the market for a new bike...

To each there own. I like the looks of the RG over the SG. Beyond looks the functionality is like night and day. The SG fairing is mounted to the steering thus any wind effects created by the fairing are transferred to and felt in the steering. Also the weight of the fairing is hanging on the steering unit. The RG fairing has no effect on the steering whatsoever as it is frame mounted.

I don't know that I'd ever own another batwing again. The RG has a look I've come to like more than any other. The ride of a RG is better than any other I've ridden as well.
If you're interested in a quick link to a conversion project - my build thread is in my signature. I converted my CVO SG 2 years ago, and haven't looked back!
