Default Interesting Bike Storage Solution

Came across this on Facebook and thought it was interesting. The website is in German though. The price after conversion to $US is $3,600!

If limited on space wouldn't be a horrible solution, little pricey for a box. I built a garage this year but spent way more, lol. By the time done insulating and build a bench will have over $15k in it and that is me building it other than had the concrete done by someone else.

lol you can buy 3 20x8ft steel shipping containers for that price.

and you can put a work bench and multiple bikes in one of those.

I have limited space which is why this caught my eye. I do like the idea of if fitting an ultra and having minimal heating in it.

Read this and did a Google search for converted storage containers. There's a lot of cool ideas out there for them if you've got the land and zoning for one. Looks like a great option for a quick bike garage/ work shop. I guess you could even take it with you if you move!

I guess it might be a good option if you lived in an apartment complex?

zoning shouldn't be an issue in most places since they're not permanent. But I can certainly see how you may not want one of these right in front of your house as they're not the prettiest thing.

I've contemplated buying one myself... store all my duck and goose hunting gear, bike, tools, and still have a little room for a mancave.
