Thumbs up The folks that make Battery Tender

Good a place as any to relay my experience with the good folks at Deltram. Recently my 2yr old BT JR. starting acting up, flashing green light sporatically no matter how long it was hooked up( or not hooked up). Went to the website and it stated to return the unit with a $12 check for evaluation/diagnostic/ blah blah. Today I got home to find a complete brand new unit( charger/hookup/ package) waiting for me! Naturally after 2yrs I didn't have the receipt but they still took care or me. Just wanted to pass this on

I've been lucky with mine so far, but that is good to know. Thanks.

Yeah, I'm pushing 3 1/2 years with my "Jr" and it still works great. Good to see they not only make a great product, but take care of their customers also.

My BT Jr is on it's 8th year of continuous usage. I guess I really shouldn't complain when it finally does die. It's good to know that the company treats it's customers like they actually are important to business. I certainly won't contact them when my unit dies, but I will buy another one from them.

I returned a 8 year old BT 1.25A charger without the receipt and expected some kind of repair charge but was sent a new unit, no cost to me. A real stand up company.

sears warranty's their little charger for 3 years, and they usually fail under a year (had two or three fail) can't ever find the receipt, so i dont buy that crap no more.

got a few Deltrans now, never had a problem with them...

My battery tender plus had been running fine for at least 5 years, seems to be well made. Just bought a junior this pay summer hopefully will get good service out of this one too.

damn....I had one go bad and simply threw it away. Was maybe 3 years old....oh well. I'll send the next one that may go bad back in if I have to. I like them so much I think I have 7 now. Everything I own that sits with a battery in it has a BT on it.

Did you send back the unit with a $12 check? If so then all you did was buy a new unit from them at cost. I don't see how that would be considered "good" customer service? If it truly was GOOD customer service they would have sent you a new one free of charge!
