Default Luggage help

I am planning a trip to Daytona in the spring and I need to get a tail bag for the trip. I have an '05 Fatboy with saddlebags and a passenger pad but I don't have a sissy bar. I'm looking for some recommendations for a bag that I can strap down over the pad to give myself some more space.

I've looked online at the Saddleman's deluxe tail bag and the T-bag Falcon and they seem like good candidates. Does anyone have experience with them? I'm not locked in on anything at this point so all opinions are welcome.

Thanks in advance for the advice!

My GF rides her Deluxe when we tour. She has the Tbag Falcon with the top bag as well. She really likes the bags for how they pack and ride on her bike. She can pack for a week and that's a LOT for a woman. They are holding up quite well for three years of use. No fading and zippers all good. Easy mounting with adjustable frame straps. Nice system with a low profile when on the bike.

Whatever luggage you choose, use Rok Straps to cinch it down. They work well.

I've been using the same T-bag since 1995 and it's held up well....no tears, rips and the zipper and tie-down straps still work as they should. The carry handles get a lot of abuse and they haven't ripped loose or torn either. And I do a two week cross country trip nearly every year. However, they are not completely waterproof in a heavy rain so put a plastic garbage bag in first and then pack it and fold over the excess at the top before you zip it up. You can't have TOO MANY bungee cords on a long trip.

I'm leaning toward the Tbag at this point. I noticed that they have a larger top bag now too. It will also allow me to bungee a bunch of crap to it.

Honestly, we have a great selection of stuff. Our Thanksgiving sales was one of the most successful sales we've ever ran... Check out some of our sissy bar bags and if you see anything you like. PM me and i'll send over the forum discount code.. http://www.vikingbags.com/motorcycle-sissy-bar-bags.htm

I use this for overnights. They strap to either to your sissy bar or passenger seat. I quite happy with them and the quality is outstanding !!!

I have a tourmaster nylon cruiser III, extra large. Mounts to backrest pad. It works great fits a lot of stuff. Used on a one week road trip, worked perfectly. Reasonably priced around $180
